Your association in the Bavarian Hunting Association

Association membership

As a member of Jägerverein Berching-Dietfurt, you are also a member of the Bayerischer Jagdverband e.V. (BJV). You can meet people and find club activities in your region through us. Membership of the state association also gives you access to specialist information, representation of your interests and member services.

The BJV lists us in its official directory as District Group 133 in the Upper Palatinate. Your application therefore goes to our association – we are your point of contact for joining, subscriptions and questions about local membership.

A second membership is subject to the condition that the primary membership in another BJV district group is already in place and remains active.

The form also allows you to make a voluntary additional contribution to support the Jägerverein and the Bavarian Hunting Association.

Services provided by the state association

Association membership and BJV

The regional association represents the interests of hunters and works to protect wildlife and its habitats. The district groups form the backbone of this work. Members can also benefit from practical services provided by the association.

Get legal questions answered

The BJV offers its members free initial legal advice on hunting law matters. For a brief enquiry, use the published association contact details. Further legal assistance and insurance cover will be clarified separately.

Information about the group legal expenses insurance and reporting a claim is also available on the hunting law page. The terms published there determine the specific scope of cover.

Insurance offers for members

The BJV lists discounted hunting liability insurance and other insurance offers relevant to hunting, as well as group accident insurance for hunting dogs on driven hunts. Before taking out or using a policy, check the current eligibility requirements and the scope of cover.

Equipment and vehicle offers

Member offers for equipment and vehicles are handled through BJV-Service GmbH. For a vehicle purchase reference certificate, the BJV office refers members to this service. Check availability and terms directly with them.

Updates every month

The association magazine JAGD in Bayern is delivered to members monthly. It brings together reports from district groups with practical hunting advice, wildlife biology, hunting traditions and training. The JAGD app provides an additional way to access association information.

Developing knowledge and environmental education

The BJV State Hunting School and the association’s specialist departments offer training and further education. The BJV also promotes and organises information events on environmental education. This complements the exchange of experience and the work of our local departments.

Basic subscription: €90 as a full member, €30 as a second member. You can choose to pay a higher annual total subscription.

The IBAN check verifies the format and checksum, not whether the account exists or who owns it. The association adds the creditor ID and mandate reference.

I authorise Jägerverein Berching-Dietfurt e. V. to collect by direct debit, when due, the subscription payable by me in accordance with the resolution of the general meeting. At the same time, I instruct my bank to honour direct debits drawn on my account by the association. I will notify the association in writing of any change to my bank account details. If I do not do so, I agree to cover any resulting bank charges. I may request a refund of the debited amount within eight weeks, starting from the debit date. The terms agreed with my bank apply. The SEPA Core Direct Debit Mandate automatically expires upon resignation or death.

3. Declarations and signatures
Read the voluntary consent to publication

The club committee points out that comprehensive data protection cannot be guaranteed when personal data is published online, despite technical measures. Voluntary consent covers first and last names, photographs and videos, performance results and participation in events. For office-holders, it also covers address, telephone number and email address. Publications may appear on jaegerverein.info, on social networks, in club communications and in the press. Consent may be withdrawn at any time free of charge.
