Hunting horn players
Hunting music brings our generations together. Rehearse as a group, maintain traditions and help create special moments in the association’s year.
At the heart of club life
Our association has a sound of its own.
At Christmas markets, birthday celebrations, booked events and association occasions, our group of hunting horn players brings hunting traditions to life through music. We play Fürst-Pless and Parforce horns in B in a mixed ensemble, as well as Parforce horns in E-flat.

Become part of the group
Here's how to get started.
Get to know us first
A trial session will give you an idea of how the group works together and let you get to know everyone. Discuss your musical experience and how to get started with Markus Bruckmeier or Hubert Schwarz.
The right instrument
Before buying a horn or mouthpiece, it is worth consulting the leader of the hunting horn players. We can also check whether a loan instrument is available.
Practise together
Addressing the horns, rhythm and playing together form the basis. From this grow signals, marches and festive pieces for our performances.
Highlights of the association year
Music for special occasions.
Hubertus service 2026: musical accompaniment cancelled
Due to illness, our hunting horn players will be unable to provide the musical accompaniment for the Hubertus Mass in 2026.
The Hubertus Mass begins at 18:00 on 7 November 2026 at Dietfurt Town Church. Afterwards, we will celebrate at the Freihardt inn in Mallerstetten with members, families, friends of hunting and hunting-rights holders.
The evening includes presentations of awards and the announcement of the shooting results and club champions. Hau di her Musi will provide the music for the celebration.
Event and calendar exportHunting horn music for your event

A tradition we carry forward.
The hunting horn players have been part of our community since the association’s early years.
Over generations, rehearsals and performances together have shaped our group. We pass this bond of music, tradition and camaraderie on to new members.
Our association historySignals & further training
From hunting signal to musical piece.
Welcomes, hunting signals and the tribute to game taken all have their place in the hunting tradition. Marches and ceremonial pieces broaden our repertoire. Playing together is about your own tone, playing in unison and listening to one another.
Can I take part as a beginner?
Get in touch with our hunting horn section leader. We’ll discuss your previous experience, a suitable instrument and your first steps in practice.
Where can I find further services?
