Environmental education

Experience the forest and wildlife with all your senses: nature days and workshops for schools, nurseries, families and groups with hunter Susanne.

At the heart of club life

Nature becomes a place of learning.

What does fur feel like? What tracks do animals leave behind? What grows at the edge of the forest? At our nature activities, we explore these questions together. Making our own observations and taking part in practical activities help children and adults connect with their surroundings.

Families & groups

Spend time outdoors together, solve challenges on a woodland trail or make something for small animal species. We’ll tailor the plans to your interests and what you can do.

Inclusive activities are also possible. Discuss routes, support needs and suitable activities with Susanne.

Club life outdoors

Our woodland trail brings people together.

At the fifth woodland rally in the Berching holiday programme 2026, 37 children and 20 helpers took part. Hands-on nature experiences, water experiments and hunting horn music made the woodland an exciting place to explore.

The children also learnt first aid with the BRK volunteer team. Diana, the Bavarian Hunting Queen, visited the event.

Habitat for small species

At Hans-Huber Nature Park, 25 children built bumblebee nests, an insect hotel and a lizard shelter. They took home insect water stations they had made themselves and flower seeds.

Nature for everyone

When the forest comes to the centre.

Not every experience of nature requires a long walk through the forest.

At the Regens-Wagner workshops in Holnstein, 17 participants explored twigs, cones, moss, wood and bark with their hands and feet.

A barefoot trail, furs, taxidermy specimens and forest sounds offered a range of ways to explore. We created forest music together, and homemade autumn chains brought back memories of the afternoon.

Who lives in the forest and meadow? In our nature activities, we explore native wildlife and its habitats. Observing, asking questions and discovering how things are connected help children experience nature at first hand.
