What to expect
The tracking work begins at the point where the animal was shot. This is also where the biggest mistakes are often made.
This seminar covers the shooter's conduct before and after the shot, and when approaching the shot site. It offers practical tips on finding and recognising stalking and shot signs, to ensure that tracking wounded game is carried out in a way that meets animal welfare requirements, and on introducing the dog to tracking work. The shot sites will be authentically recreated on a piece of big game, so that shots that are difficult to identify can also be covered.
This seminar is ideal not just for new hunters!
Please bring weatherproof clothing and sturdy footwear!
