Winter time 🕑
Wildlife can’t look at a clock. It lives, feeds and moves according to its internal clock. When we put the clocks back by one hour on Sunday night, morning and evening commuter traffic shifts into the times when, for example, roe deer are extremely active. So take extra care and drive at an appropriate speed at dusk. Pay attention to wildlife crossing signs; they are there for good reason.
At the edges of woodland, there is always an increased risk of accidents!
But what should you do if it does happen?
📞 Inform the police or, if you know who they are, the hunting tenant
📍Give your location (as accurately as possible) and, ideally, mark it. This makes the search much easier.
⤴️ If the animal runs off injured, be sure to give the direction it fled in.
👆🏻You must not take dead wildlife with you (poaching!)
If possible, move it to the roadside.
We wish you a safe, accident-free journey
