25 children created habitats for small animals at the Nature and Species Conservation Day in Hans-Huber-Naturpark. Despite temperatures of 34 degrees, they built bumblebee nesting sites, a large insect hotel and a lizard habitat using stones and deadwood.
Each child was able to take home a self-decorated insect watering station made with moss and stones, along with flower seeds. Plank Bakery provided refreshments. Wooden logs for seating add a green classroom to the nature park.
