Volunteers’ Day
Thank you to all the volunteer fawn rescuers, tracking wounded game teams, shooting officers, committee members, treasurers, secretaries, local hunting group leaders, hunters who do public outreach, dog trainers, hunting horn players, instructors on hunting courses run by district groups, people who order game cover crops, hedge carers, those who feed wildlife in times of hardship, people who collect roadkill, and disease-control volunteers.
Firefighters, first-aiders, sports coaches, homework helpers and school support workers. Thank you to everyone who volunteers, even if you are not mentioned here. You are all pillars of our society, and without you the world would be a much poorer place ...
