🌲🍄🦊🦉🐜🦌🌲The children in Year 3 at Holnstein Primary School discovered a game trail today, and huntress Susanne explained a number of things about it.
They closely examined and felt spruce, fir, larch, birch, oak, chestnut, beech and pine trees. In the tree quiz, both teams showed what they knew, and then matched pictures of animals to the different layers of the forest.
Time in the forest passed far too quickly, and the children said goodbye with twigs, cones and fruit in their bags, ready to make a forest mobile together at school.
This was our final event for 2025.
We’re delighted that our programme has been so enthusiastically received, and we already have several dates in the calendar for the new year.
For now, though, our communications team can look forward to a relaxing Christmas season.
