So small, and already a “machine” for aerating the ground and turning over meadows …
What is no problem in the forest and is even welcome becomes a nuisance in meadows and fields.
Anyone lucky enough to observe wild boar for a longer period will soon see how even the smallest piglets work the ground with their snouts.
Considering how keen the wild boar’s sense of smell is and how sensitive their snouts are, it is astonishing how they turn over even stony, partly frozen ground.
