An important rule that we discuss with the children before every woodland day – and the children usually have lots to tell us about all the rubbish they’ve already found outdoors, in the wildlife’s living rooms and bedrooms. It’s sad, but also heartening, to see the children’s indignant faces.
Some adults could certainly learn a thing or two from them!
We hunters often come across all kinds of rubbish outdoors. It ranges from “just” plastic to car tyres, flowerpots and even washbasins. All you can say is “Yuck!” or hope that someone will throw their rubbish into the litterbugs’ living rooms or bedrooms one day.
